Campbell Soup Co. Recalls Soup Due to Potential Choking Hazard

The Campbell Soup Co. announced Thursday, October 4, that it was recalling limited quantity of its "Campbell's Chunky" Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits due to a potential choking hazard.

The company is recalling 72,000 cans of a variety of its Chunky soup because they may contain pieces of hard plastic. According to the company, three consumers has minor injuries because of the soup in and around the mouth.

The recall involves 18.8-ounce cans of Campbell's Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits. No other products are affected by the recall, the company said.

The can code is "JUL 08 2009 07097", and consumers should either throw the cans of soup away or return them.
