Duke Sophomore Dies in Bicycle Accident

A Duke student was riding her bicycle near her home, when she was stuck by a car.

Claire Crowley suffered life threatening injuries and died a few hours later. She had been planning on helping to open a boarding school for girls in Kenya next summer working with the Women's Institute for Secondary Education and Research (WISER). A memorial fund has been established with donations going to Duke University Women's Institute for Secondary Education for Muhuru Bay, Kenya, in her name.
